Malvern House Nursing
Home is an attractive Victorian building that was converted into a care home more than thirty years ago. During its conversion
every endeavour was made to retain its Victorian character. A discreet, modern extension to the Home has been added at the
rear of the property to provide additional accommodation. All parts of the property used by the Service Users are easily accessible
and all floors are served by an automatic passenger lift or stair lift.
Malvern House is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC), to provide
nursing and residential care for up to 22 Service Users. However our capacity is currently 20 beds due to the configuration
of some of the rooms. Respite, short-term and day care clients are also welcome. Trained nurses are always
on site so Service Users with complex and long-term nursing needs can always be catered for and we can also offer care for some
mental health needs such as dementia where, after assessment, the Home is considered appropriate. The Home is a family run
business, owned and managed by experienced providers, Mr and Mrs Jackson and supported by a highly qualified Deputy Manager,
Mrs Julie Moore. Polly Jackson is the Registered Manager for the Home.
The Home is situated
in a tranquil area of Saltash and all amenities including shops, churches, bus stops, railway station, Post Office
and banks are within a five minute walk from the home in the nearby town centre. There is a pleasant park opposite and
also another adjacent to the Home and the attractive, mature garden faces south and is accessible to all
Service Users and their visitors.
If you would like to view the Home and discuss your individual
requirements, please contact the Manager or Deputy Manager to arrange a mutually convenient time.
