In addition to the Registered Manager/Director (Polly Jackson) and Deputy Manager, there are 8 Registered Nurses and  12 Care Assistants. Ancillary Staff including 2 Domestics, 3 Cooks and 3 Laundry Assistants. Property maintenance is carried out by the Property Manager/Director, Martin Jackson.

Our activities co-ordinator, Steph Norgaard arranges interesting and varied activities on a twice weekly basis including festival and holiday activities, arts, crafts, cooking, quizzes, visiting speakers, reminiscence sessions, singing, exercising along to music, flower arranging. gardening - the list is endless!

We also have a dedicated, "Service-User friendly" computer terminal which is wireless and portable so that it can be accessed by all Service Users for uploaded electronic activities, Internet and Skype etc.  Each Service User is set up with their own email account so corresponding with friends and relatives is easy.

The Home also has a Cocker Spaniel called Tia who is often found following the tea trolley around in case a biscuit should fall off and who loves visiting Service-Users in their rooms. Visiting dogs are very welcome as long as they are pest-free and kept on a lead during visits. Other furry friends are welcome and we sometimes have one of the donkeys from the local Sanctuary visit which is always popular. Wayne is in the pictures who we adopted for a few years before he retired from public service!

We have a lovely mature, south-facing garden which is often used throughout the summer particularly by Service Users, relatives and staff for relaxation and enjoyment. Our Activities Coordinator is often seen with a group planting up pots and enjoying other activities under the shade of the parasols. All Service Users including wheelchair users can access the garden as they wish as it is easily reached from the main building.
