Malvern House is a care home
offering personal and/or nursing care to its Service Users on long term or respite basis. Emergency and intermediate accommodation
can also be offered under the R.A.T. scheme in Cornwall where appropriate.
Service Users over the age
of 65 are usually considered for admission. However, in circumstances where Malvern House can meet the needs of younger people (50+) and where the placement would be beneficial to both the applicant and existing Service
Users, they can also be assessed for admission with the approval of the appropriate regulatory authorities (Commission for
Social Care Inspection and admitting council where appropriate).
Service users at Malvern House
have a range of diverse needs, some who are mobile and need minimal assistance and others who require full assistance with
activities of daily living and also nursing care.
Wheelchair access is possible
throughout the home.
